In our prenatal meetings I explain the physiology of pregnancy and birth and how the Canadian healthcare system works, and we prepare your birth plan together. During birth I support you with advocacy and communication, so you are heard and receive the care you deserve.
I'm fluent in English and Portuguese. You'll have unlimited support by email and WhatsApp throughout your pregnancy, and your partner is welcome at the prenatal meetings.
I'm a Brazilian immigrant and a mother of two. My first son was born via C-section and my second via vaginal birth, both here in Nova Scotia, so I know both paths firsthand.
